OUR 5 CORE INITIATIVES

  1. Skilled facilities training and a path to grow our workforce, enabling residents to stay on Maui
  2. Raise awareness of our aging facilities and infrastructure
  3. Consultative services on resilient, sustainable energy solutions
  4. Consultative services for clean, available water solutions
  5. Assist with the betterment and implementation of a Managed Coastal Retreat Plan based on the recently completed Climate Action and Resiliency Plan (CARP)

ATTENTION: Wildfire Survivors, High School Graduates, Former Maui Residents, or those looking for a brighter tomorrow and new path forward.

The Maui TradeWinds Vocational Training Program is now accepting applications. No fee is required to attend The Program, and trainees chosen will be compensated $15 per hour of training. The program seeks to bring students into the workplace for real-life experiences. Among the skills to be taught will be: basic safety, introduction to hand tools, power tools, construction math, trade literacy, introduction to blueprints, engineering trades and employability skills.
